Key Staff
Don Crowe, CEO
Crowe oversees strategic planning, marketing, program development, operations and financial reporting for all three Arena Sports locations, as well as for Sports I.T. and Lil' Kickers. Prior to Arena Sports, Crowe served as the acting financial officer and treasurer of the board for ICON Communications Corporation. A Washington state CPA, Crowe has also worked with Arthur Andersen’s audit division in Seattle. Crowe, a native of Canada, graduated from the University of Washington with a B.A. in business administration and accounting. He resides in Issaquah, Wash., with his wife and has three daughters. Actively involved in soccer for 30 years, Crowe has played in the Washington State Premier League and earned all league honors in the North Puget Sound Soccer League.
Ty Redinger, President
Ty has been our President since May 2008. Ty has been employed by Arena Sports since 2000, starting as a customer service representative and Lil’ Kickers coach. In 2001 he was hired as the Director of Arena Sports’ Lil’ Kickers program in Redmond Washington. He was promoted to Director of Northwest Lil’ Kickers Operations in 2004, and to Vice President of Operations in 2007.
Gene Hogan, Director of North American Franchises
Gene has been our Director of North American Franchises since May 2008. Gene started with Arena Sports in 2000 as the Lil’ Kickers Director for the Seattle facility and eventually expanded his role to manage two facilities’ programs. Gene was promoted to Director of Lil’ Kickers North American License Program in 2004.
Takeshi Ushikubo, Director of Lil' Kickers Operations for Arena Sports
Takeshi began working for Arena Sports in 2002 as a Lil’ Kickers coach, Coordinator, and Director. He currently heads up Arena Sports’ team of Lil’ Kickers coordinators in the Seattle market.
Karen Crowe, Marketing and Child Development Specialist
Karen has been our Marketing and Child Development Specialist since May 2008. Karen joined Arena Sports in 1999 as a specialist to head the conversion of Lil’ Kickers from a soccer program into a child development program. She continues to oversee the development of Lil’ Kickers marketing materials and curriculum.
Lee Perry, Arena Manager SODO
Lee has worked with the Arena for 9 years, starting as a referee back in 2000 before taking on his current role as manager of the Seattle locale in 2004. Previously, Lee worked as a supply specialist for the US Army, and he is a veteran of Desert Storm stationed at Ft. Lewis, WA.
